Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Juan Uribe hit a pair of home runs in one inning, including a grand slam during a nine-run second, as the San Francisco Giants used a 19-hit attack to dominate the Chicago Cubs, 13-0, in the rubber match of a three-game series at Wrigley Field.

Uribe, who had six RBI, became the first Giants player to hit two homers in one inning since Bengie Molina accomplished the feat on May 7, 2007 against the Mets (bottom of the fifth).
Madison Bumgarner (6-6) pitched seven scoreless frames to pick up his first win since August 20. The left-hander allowed seven hits to go with a career- best nine strikeouts and one walk.
The Giants have used some great pitching recently to join the record books. San Francisco has held its opponent to three runs or fewer in 17 straight games. The last team to allow three runs or less in at least 17 consecutive games in a single season was the 1917 White Sox, who had a 20-game streak, which is longest since 1900.
Ryan Dempster (14-11), who hadn't surrendered a run over his previous two trips to the mound, gave up nine runs on seven hits in just 1 2/3 innings for the Cubs, who had won seven of eight coming in.
San Francisco started the run parade in the first inning. Mike Fontenot singled, Freddy Sanchez singled, and Aubrey Huff walked to load the bases with nobody out. The game's first run crossed the plate when Posey grounded into a double play.
Uribe was a key part of the Giants' nine-run second. After Jose Guillen was hit by a pitch, Uribe cleared the wall in left. Bumgarner singled and Fontenot doubled to put men on second and third with one out. Sanchez and Posey added RBI singles. Another run scored on a wild pitch. Pat Burrell walked and Guillen was hit by a pitch to load the bases with two outs.
Thomas Diamond came in from the bullpen to replace Dempster. Uribe greeted Diamond with a grand slam to left to make it a 10-0 game.
Posey and Ross hit solo homers in the third and sixth innings, respectively, to give San Francisco a 12-run cushion.
Pinch-hitter Pablo Sandoval hit an RBI single in the eighth to make it a 13-0 contest.
Chicago failed to get anything going on offense all night, as the home team did not advance a runner past second base for the entire game.
The 13-0 score was San Francisco's largest margin of victory over Chicago since September 3, 1963 (16-3 win).

The Giants won the season series with the Cubs, 5-2...It was the fifth career grand slam for Uribe, who became the first Giants player to hit two HRs in one inning with one of the home runs being a grand slam since Willie McCovey did it June 27, 1977 at Cincinnati (sixth inning)...Posey's 16 HRs are the most by a San Francisco rookie since Chris Brown hit 16 in 1985...The Cubs had gone 11 straight games with allowing three runs or fewer...Cubs pitcher Carlos Silva, who has not pitched since September 7, will likely miss the rest of the season due to a right elbow injury...The Giants were without shortstop Edgar Renteria (right elbow)...Dempster fell to 4-8 lifetime versus San Francisco.
