Fantasy Football News, Week 4: Will Steven Jackson Play?

Rams RB Steven Jackson is considered "day-to-day" after suffering a groin injury on Sunday against the Redskins.

“We’re going to tread lightly on this one,” Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said on a conference call with Seattle reporters. “It is truly day-to-day. The news was good when the MRI came back and it wasn’t a tear, but he’s sore. You’re talking about a running back with a lower-extremity injury, and so you’re going to be careful with it.”

Spagnuolo said Jackson will want to play regardless so they have to be smart about it. Fantasy football players should be cautiously optimistic with Jackson’s status

It sounds like Jackson will be a Sunday morning decision. There’s no reason for the Rams to announce any earlier whether he’s playing or not.

Check out Turf Show Times leading up to the game for more on Steven Jackson’s fantasy football status.
