2010 U.S. Open Third Round Result: Kim Clijsters Starts Slow, Finishes Strong

Second-seeded Kim Clijsters struggled at the outset Wednesday, but recovered quickly to beat Petra Kvitova, 6-3, 6-0, in the third round of the 2010 U.S. Open. Clijsters fell behind 3-0 in the first set before winning the next nine games.

Kvitova, who piled up 29 unforced errors, fell apart after a good start.
