This week’s AP Poll finds Boise State and TCU moving into striking distance of heavyweights Alabama and Ohio State.
Week One Simulated BCS Standings Has Alabama Vs. Boise State In The BCS Title Game
SB Nation’s own BCS Evolution is compiling the available data to present a simulated BCS rankings for the first week of the season. Currently only half of the computer rankings are available with the highest and lowest scores still being dropped, also the harris poll is not available until later in the year.
So far here is how the top five look like with the surprise of Boise State currently in position to play for the BCS title game against Alabama:

The Associated Press’ Week Two top 25 poll has been released, and it’s got some great news for fans of BCS busters.
Though Alabama still claims the top spot, with Ohio State second, Boise State and TCU slot into the third and fourth positions, with the Broncos just 13 points behind the Buckeyes. TCU made the biggest leap in the poll, vaulting from tenth to fourth after a win over Oregon State.
