VIDEO: Novak Djokovic’s U.S. Open Interviews: Taste The Awkward Magic!

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic may not be American (he may not even be human), but he’s well on his way to becoming a sentimental favorite at the 2010 U.S. Open, thanks entirely to legions of fans who just want him to win so Brad Gilbert will put a camera in his face and ask an innocuously leading question in the postgame interview.

Djokovic kicked off things with a bang in his first close encounter with a mic after his opening-round victory over Viktor Troicki:

But it was his second-round interview that captivated a nation of entendre enthusiasts:

The video cuts off before he can add the kicker, “Do not worry. I will not show it to you tonight,” but you get the general idea of whom we’re dealing with here.

Djokovic next faces Gael Monfils in the quarterfinals. If you’re not going to tune in for the hair, at least flip over for the postmortem.
