Small forward James Jones has signed a three-year deal to remain with the Miami Heat, according to reports.
Jones shot 42.2 percent from three-point range in 81 games for Miami last year, helping to space the floor for LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. His game is limited otherwise, but as long as he continues to knock down his three-pointers, he is valuable to the Heat. He is a career 40.1-percent three-point shooter, so it's unlikely he'll suffer a major shooting slump next season.
With Shane Battier and Mike Miller both on the club, Jones' role will probably be more limited. He averaged 19.1 minutes per game last season.
