Devon Still, NFL Draft 2012: Penn State DT Could Be Top Ten Pick

Devon Still is the top defensive tackle eligible for the 2012 NFL Draft, but it’s yet to be seen if the former Penn State Nittany Lion will be able to get selected in the top 10.

Devon Still has already signed with super-agent Drew Rosenhaus, meaning he'll likely be a high-profile player in the 2012 NFL Draft. Whether the former Penn State Nittany Lions defensive tackle is going to be selected in the top 10 is another story, but he is being mentioned up there in some mock drafts.

SB Nation’s Mocking the Draft has Still ranked as the 13th best prospect in this year’s draft, but the top defensive tackle, meaning he could end up moving higher into the draft based on team needs. He’s set to play in the Senior Bowl, too, meaning he could move up based on a strong performance there.

Still, a projected first-round pick by most publications, had 55 tackles, including 17.0 for a loss, to go with 4.5 sacks for the Lions this past season. As a result, he was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and was a finalist for a number of national awards.

It’ll be an interesting few months to see what happens for Still and his NFL Draft prospects.
