The New York Giants are getting one of their many defensive stalwarts back: Mathias Kiwanuka has agreed to re-sign with the team.
Mathias Kiwanuka Staying With New York Giants
Kiwanuka has been on the rise, going from a reserve in his first two years in the NFL to a starter in 2008 and 2009. And he got his 2010 off to an even better start, recording four sacks in three games — Kiwanuka had 19.5 sacks in 58 NFL games prior to 2010 — before suffering a herniated disc that eventually led to him being placed on injured reserve.
