2011 Super Bowl week is winding down which means hotels are cleaning up from the fans that undoubtedly stayed up all night, rental companies are preparing for a fleet of cars to be returned and the airlines are gearing up for thousands of football fans to be walking through the terminal.
Super Bowl 2011 In Dallas Brings Celebrities, NFL’s Biggest Stars
Super Bowl week is nearly over so it’s time to take a look back at the media bonanzo of celebrities and athletes that made their way to Dallas.
Believe it or not, many people come down to Super Bowl XLV just for the week and not the game itself. With celebrities, athletes and other folks with money down in Dallas all week, you get people coming to Super Bowl week looking for sponsors, investors or other sorts of business-related ventures.
As we sit here on Sunday morning, those without an interest in the actual game are leaving. Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers fans remain here -- no doubt they're nervous about the game -- as well as the assembled media to cover the game.
Because the week is ending, we figured it would be a good time to look back at the media bonanza that is Super Bowl week. Here are a few people we saw milling around this week:
You may know him as Robert Wuhl. But from 1996-2002 he was Arli$$ from the hit HBO show. He was interviewing....
Mr. Adam Sandler. Believe it or not, the crowd you see isn’t for Arli$$ or Adam Sandler. It was for The Situation (seriously).
What would a Super Bowl be without the Playmaker? He’s hugely popular at Super Bowl week, especially one held in Dallas.
This is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway. You probably know him better as Cee-Lo. Coke Zero provided us with a trip out to the EA Madden party where Cee-Lo was performing. Not a bad musical guest for a small gathering, huh?
Maria Menounos got some face time at the Madden party as well. I’m not sure how she ties into football but I’m glad she was there.
Drew Brees was back at Super Bowl week but, unfortunately for the Saints, he wasn't playing.
Kurt Warner made the rounds at Radio Row. Here he is talking about the importance of the quarterbacks in Super Bowl XLV.
This guy has a couple of sons who aren’t too bad at football. In fact, he wasn’t too bad himself. Archie Manning is always a crowd favorite.
