Mikel Leshoure likely to enter NFL Draft Tuesday

Following the news that Illini linebacker Martez Wilson is entering the 2011 NFL Draft, the talent may further get depleted for Illinois on Tuesday.

According to ESPN, Illinois junior running back Mikel Leshoure is holding a news conference at 11 a.m. tomorrow to announce he's entering the draft.

Leshoure had a breakout 2010 season, rushing for 1,697 yards and 17 touchdowns on 281 attempts. He enters the draft as the premier power/speed combo back and could go as high as the end of the first round.
He ran for 120 yards or more in his last five games of the season, including an eye-popping 330 against Northwestern on Nov. 20.
