Whoever wrote this must not have watched much NASCAR before. Otherwise, they’d know drivers have often gone three-wide at Daytona – and long before the track was repaved.

I understand Fox is trying to get non-NASCAR fans interested in watching the race. But for some reason, I doubt selling people on the allure of new asphalt is going to do the trick.
