The No. 5 Connecticut Huskies are locked in a tight battle with Marquette, trailing 56-51 in the second half. The Huskies took a 38-31 lead into the half, but saw it evaporate as the Golden Eagles came storming back with a quick second half run.

Player of the year candidate Kemba Walker is having a slow night, scoring just six points on 2-11 shooting for the Huskies. Jeremy Lamb stepped up with Walker cold, scoring 18 points to lead the Huskies. Roscoe Smith has 11 points on 5-11 shooting. Walker is still finding ways to contribute, though, grabbing a team-high six rebounds and dishing out a team-high seven assists.
It's been a three-pronged attack for the Golden Eagles, with Darius Johnson-Odom, Jimmy Butler and Dwight Buycks accounting for the bulk of Marquette's scoring. Johnson-Odom leads the team with 16 points, followed closely by Butler's 12 and Buycks' 10. The Marquette bench has been absent, contributing just two points thus far.
