There remain four power conference teams with undefeated records, and unsurprisingly those four teams lead the way in the top four spots of the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll. Duke, Ohio State Kansas and Syracuse have more or less separated themselves from the rest of the pack of college basketball through the first full week of conference play, blowing their opponents out of the water while doing it.
NCAA Basketball Rankings: Duke, Ohio State, And Kansas Remain Top Teams
UConn very well could have been among these teams, but slipped to No. 9 after a loss to now No. 6 Pittsburgh, with still four Big East teams left in the top ten expect more cannibalism as they face each other over the course of the season. There is otherwise very little movement across the top 25, as Georgetown falls to No. 13 after a loss to No.15 Notre Dame. Wisconsin falls from the rankings after losing Sunday to No. 20 Illinois, as does Baylor after losing three of their last five games, allowing No. 24 Vanderbilt and No. 25 Cincinnati to move in to fill the void.
The unquestioned winner of the poll is once again the Big East, who boast eight teams in the top 25.
