The Texas Longhorns have gone undefeated in the Big 12 so far, which includes a 81-60 wasting of the Texas A&M Aggies in Austin on Jan. 19. Texas has kept rolling since then, handing the Kansas Jayhawks their first home loss in oh like forever and beating the No. 13 Missouri Tigers by 13, but the Aggies dropped one on the road against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
No. 3 Texas Vs. No. 16 Texas A&M: Big Monday Rematch In College Station
A&M has a chance for revenge as the Horns angle for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. First things first though -- to do that they’ll need to be the first conference team to even finish within 10 points of Texas. One positive for the Aggies: they’re 12-0 at home this year.
Texas A&M will need to score a darn sight more than the 48 they mustered against Nebraska, which won't come easy against Texas' stern defense. The Longhorns have yet to give up more than 63 to a Big 12 team. Forward Khris Middleton leads the Aggies in scoring with 15.7, while Longhorns star Jordan Hamilton puts up 19 per game.
