Several juniors in 2011 NFL Draft as of today

Amid all the excitement of Andrew Luck staying in school, several top juniors entered the 2011 NFL Draft today. Here's what we've missed on MTD:

Joe Schad of ESPN is reporting that Alabama's top underclassmen – defensive tackle Marcell Dareus and running back Mark Ingram – will announce on Friday that they're entering the NFL Draft.

Wisconsin junior defensive end J.J. Watt is in the draft. After registering 21 tackles for loss this season, Watt showed he's ready for the NFL. Now teams will have to determine where he plays. Is he 4-3 end or a 3-4 end? He may not have the power base to consistently hold the end on a 3-4 or the athleticism for the 4-3.

As many expected, Virginia Tech's Darren Evans is entering the draft. Evans ran for 854 yards and 11 touchdowns while sharing duties with redshirt sophomore Ryan Williams. If you recall, Evans was a star as a freshman rushing for 1,265 yards. He missed the 2009 season with a torn ACL, which allowed Williams to emerge.

Speaking of Ryan Williams, he’ll announce his intentions Sunday or Monday. He is expected go pro.

Also as expected, Oklahoma wide receiver Ryan Broyles is returning for his senior season.
