Several underclassmen still have NFL Draft choice

Although there won’t be another day this year in regard to NFL Draft declaration news, there are still plenty of top underclassmen who haven’t made their intentions known. Some still have bowl games. Others are still weighing their decision. Here are some names to keep an eye between now and Jan. 15, the underclassmen declare deadline.

Patrick Peterson | CB | LSU
The word:
Peterson isn't talking, yet. He's expected to announce after Friday's Cotton Bowl that he'll enter the draft.

Nick Fairley | DT | Auburn
The word:
There has been little talk about Fairley. He's said he hasn't thought about the draft. Still, expect him to enter.

Cam Newton | QB | Auburn
The word: Like Fairley, little has been said about Newton’s intentions. Expect that to change by next Tuesday after Auburn plays in the national title game.

Julio Jones | WR | Alabama
The word:

Jones won’t announce his decision when

Mark Ingram

and

Marcell Dareus

do Friday. Still, he’s expected to enter the draft soon.

Justin Blackmon | WR | Oklahoma State
The word:
Blackmon, along with quarterback Brandon Weeden, is still deciding whether or not to go pro.
