Wide receiver Brandon Marshall of the 0-4 Miami Dolphins doesn't seem to be merely speaking hyperbolically in saying he's going to get kicked out of the game against the Broncos Jets Sunday.
Brandon Marshall’s unique ‘Suck for Luck’ methodology

“I’ve been living in a bubble a little bit. Trying to control myself, instead of being me,” Marshall said to the media. “Hey man, I’m just going to let it out. I don’t care if they have two or three cameras on me, I don’t care if I have penalties, it doesn’t matter.”
On the surface, many think this type of outspoken behavior by Marshall is an effort to fire up himself and teammates. After all, the Dolphins are winless this season and had to sign journeyman quarterback Sage Rosenfels after Chad Henne was knocked out the rest of the season.
Deep-thinking optimists such as myself know better. This is Marshall's contribution in the Dolphins' Suck for Luck campaign. Sure, Marshall may have more drops this season than any other Dolphins receiver, but he's still the team's best offensive weapon. Sorry, Reggie Bush fans.
If Marshall gets himself kicked out of the game in the second quarter, as he predicts, it will greatly increase Miami's chance of a loss and get them closer to Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck. With the Indianapolis Colts a half-game up in the Luck sweepstakes at 0-5, the Dolphins simply have to keep pace here.
If it works, it would be the equivalent to donating a million dollars to a presidential campaign. Judging by how the Colts have played at times this season, the Dolphins may need more selfless contributions like Marshall’s.
