For the rest of the season, quarterback Robert Griffin III will see markedly harder competition than he has thus far. It just won't come today at noon against Texas A&M. Fortunately for Griffin, the Aggies are the worst pass defense in the nation, allowing 347 per game. Griffin may not have more touchdowns than incomplete passes anymore, but he's still completing a mind-boggling 80 percent of his passes.
The play of Aggies quarterback Ryan Tannehill continues to be a confusing prospect to peg. He looks like a first-round player in the first half of games but struggles in the second half. He was pretty ordinary against Texas Tech last week and has just seven touchdowns to five interceptions this season. He's not getting the same play out of wide receiver Jeff Fuller, who looked like a certain first-round pick after last season. Fuller has struggled to get open this season and isn't making many big plays. Fuller's was cleared to play today after suffering a concussion last week.
Baylor at Texas A&M NFL Draft watch notes

After a rough game against Kansas State on Oct. 1, Baylor running back
exploded for 200 yards and three touchdowns against Iowa State last week. Ganaway, a senior, is a power back at 6-foot and 240 pounds. He has quick feet to hit the hole and does a good job taking the pressure off Griffin. He’s arguably the most important piece of Baylor’s offense.
It’s hard to feel confident in A&M cornerback
. He’s been banged up this year and not playing as physically as he has in the past. He could be in trouble if he lines up against Baylor’s
today. Wright has developed into one of the top wide receiver prospects in the nation with 48 receptions for 690 yards and eight touchdowns. If Griffin is getting a lot of passes to Wright today, it could be an easy win for Baylor.
Bears defensive tackle
has a way to go, but has the size at 6-foot-2, 335 pounds to get a shot as a nose tackle in the NFL. He’s little more than a big body, but some NFL teams are after such a player.
