NFL Stars of the Week - Week 7

Getty Images

This week featured some performances that will never be forgotten. 250 rushing yards in a game. 280 all purpose yards and 3TDs by a RB. More passing TDs than incompletions. This week featured just about everything a football fan could have wanted. Follow the jump to see this weeks stars of the week.

Offensive Stars:

Star No. 1: Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans: 5TD's, 4 Incompletions. Need I say more?

Star No. 2: Arian Foster, RB, Houston Texans - Foster went into total beast-mode, finishing with over 280 yards and 3TDs. He really helped propel my fantasy team to victory this week.

Star No. 3: DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys - Murray dominated the horrible Rams defense for 250 yards and 1TD.

Honorable Mentions: Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson, Marques Colston, Greg Jennings, Mike Wallace

Defensive Stars

Star No. 1: Charles Woodson, CB, Green Bay Packers - Woodson continued to make big plays vs. young QB's, finishing with 2INTs vs. a rookie QB for the 2nd time this season.

Star No. 2: Brandon Flowers, CB, Kansas City Chiefs: On the other hand, Flowers picked off two veteran horrible QBs twice and took on to the house.

Star No. 3: LaMarr Woodley, OLB, Pittsburgh Steelers: Woodley has been on an absolute tear lately. He finished this week with 7 tackles, 2 sacks (should have been 3), and one safety.

Honorable Mentions: David Hawthorne, Jared Allen, Shaun Phillips, Chris Clemons, Cameron Wake

Dud of the Week: Kyle Boller and Carson Palmer, QB, Oakland Raiders: The two headed monster combined for 6 INTs and 0 TD and a sub 20 QB Rating. Embarrassing.
