ANIMATED: Skating Backwards During A Hockey Game Is A Bad Idea

I’m no hockey expert and I’ve never played an organized game on the ice, but it would seem skating around backwards is a bad idea. My evidence is, of course, limited, but the following gif of a Wisconsin hockey player getting absolutely wrecked while coasting in reverse tells me the results can be devastating.
