NFL Stars of the Week - Week 4

Some repeat performers this week but an overall lack of impressive performances. Nobody wowed me except for Aaron Rodgers.

Offensive Stars of the Week:

Star No. 1 - Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers: Rodgers was incredibly good this weekend. He had 408 passing yards, 4TDs, 1INT, and 2 Rushing TDs.

Star No. 2 - Chris Wells, RB,

Arizona Cardinals

: Chris Wells looked like the man draft experts thought he would be. He had 27 carries for 138 yards and 3TDs. Thankfully, I benched him on my fantasy team in favor of

Tim Hightower

.

Star No. 3 - Cam Newton, QB, Carolina Panthers: Newton continued to impress. He had 374 passing yards, 1TD and 2 rushing TDs. Great performance.

Honorable Mentions: Pierre Garcon, Michael Vick, Matt Forte, Arian Foster, Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks

Defensive Stars of the Week:

Star No. 1 - Jason Babin, DE, Philadelphia Eagles: Babin looked dominate in the Eagles crushing defeat. He had three sacks and 1 forced fumble.

Star No. 2 - Brian Orakpo, OLB, Washington Redskins: Orakpo looked like a beast with 5 tackles and 2.5 sacks. He is starting to round into form and looks like he could be a DPOY candidate.

Star No. 3 - Kavell Conner, OLB, Indianapolis Colts: Conner posted 18 tackles vs. the Bucs on Monday Night. Any time you near 20 tackles, you will make this list.

Honorable Mentions: Mario Williams, Tamba Hali, Von Miller, Osi Umenyiora, Dawan Landry

Dud of the Week: Mark Sanchez, QB, New York Jets: Sanchize was absolutely awful vs. the Ravens. He was an impressive 11 for 35 for 119 yards and had 1INT and 4 fumbles. Impressive stuff from the alleged "top 15 QB".

He’s a bit of a liability in the run game, but his potential in the pass game was enough for Buffalo Rumblings.

It’s a high-potential pick for a Detroit defense that needs a solid pass rusher.
