Officially, the most polarizing prospect in the 2012 NFL Draft is Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore. Not since Tim Tebow has a player split draft fans like Moore.
A heady winner who places the ball well, Moore will have to extremely break the norm to succeed at the next level. At a listed 6-foot and 191 pounds, Moore would among the smallest quarterbacks in the NFL. Cleveland Browns backup Seneca Wallace is 5-foot-11 and throughout his career has had real trouble finding opening throwing windows. The typical comparison Moore gets is Drew Brees because of the height of the New Orleans Saints quarterback.
The rub is that Brees is far and away the exception and not the standard. That would be like saying any tall pocket passer compares to Peyton Manning. It would be a great end result for Moore, but the odds go heavily against it happening.
Of course, Boise State is much more than just Moore. End Shea McClellan seems to pop off the screen, but he has no discernible strengths to his game other than maybe his effort. Running back Doug Martin has struggled some through four games, averaging just 3.9 yards per carry. He needs to start hitting the hole faster and harder.

looks custom made to play the five-technique at the next level. He could be the kind of player who is drafted in the middle rounds but contributes immediately in the NFL.
Fresno State defensive tackle
is a man sort of without at position in the NFL at 6-foot-2 and 276 pounds. Although he plays defensive tackle for Fresno, he likely projects as a left defensive end in the pros. He’s adept at getting in the backfield is a ferocious tackler. On the season, he already has 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
