On October 27, the Anaheim Ducks beat the Minnesota Wild 3-2 and improved to 5-3-1 on the young season. Over two weeks later, the Ducks and Wild met again with the latter extracting revenge in an identical 3-2 win, dropping the former to 6-8-3. Since their win over Minnesota October 27, the Ducks have won just one game and are 1-5-2 in their last eight games.
Wild Vs. Ducks: Ducks Continue To Struggle In 3-2 Loss To Wild
The Ducks have won just once in their last eight games in a 3-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild

The Ducks are having trouble scoring; they have scored only 17 goals in the last eight games. Some of the games were winnable. Anaheim blew a 3-0 second period to the Washington Capitals November 1 and lost 2-1 in a shootout to the New York Rangers November 3. Others have been at the expense of struggling teams, including a 5-0 loss to the Detroit Red Wings November 5 where Detroit snapped a six-game skid. Of course, losing to the Columbus Blue Jackets at all this season is bad enough and the Ducks did that October 30 in a 3-1 loss.
Anaheim is now in last place in the Pacific Division and tied with the Calgary Flames for 14th in the Western Conference.
