LSU's Morris Claiborne isn't the team's only high-rising prospect this season. Wide receiver Rueben Randle has been consistent throughout most of the season and looks better than previous tall, physical Tigers receivers. Earlier in the season Randle torched Florida and played well against Auburn. If he can put together a couple more good games, he could jump early to the NFL and become a second-round pick.
After Claiborne, many of LSU's best players on defense are redshirt sophomores, so we won't get into them here. While they are draft eligible, I don't expect any of them to go pro.

Ole Miss has a few prospects to monitor, but their players have been largely disappointing. Running back
has nice size at 5-foot-11 and 221 pounds but lacks speed and breakaway ability. In eight games this season, Bolden only has 77 carries for 389 yards and four touchdowns.
I thought defensive end
would develop into a solid edge rusher this season, but it hasn’t happened. Lockett is a lanky 6-foot-5, but he has only 22 tackles and two tackles for loss this season.
The best player on Mississippi may be junior offensive tackle
. He’s a strong player who moves off the line well.
