VIDEO: Nickelback Responds To Online Petition

In case you hadn't heard, Nickelback is not the Internet's favorite band. In fact, if the Internet could choose one band to wipe off the face of the Earth, the safe bet would be Nickelback. God Bless You, Internet. The proof is in the online petition to ban them from playing the halftime show during the Lions-Packers halftime show. More than 55,00 people have signed it.

The good folks at Funny Or Die gave Nickelback a chance to defend themselves, and they do an adequate job, though the lead singer, Chad Kroeger, is disturbingly convincing when he says “we make love to goats.” Video after the jump.

The real highlight of the video is, of course, Paul Scheer, but the dude dressed in the aluminum foil RoboCop outfit is also a gas.

This video does nothing to dispell the commonly held notion that Nickelback sucks, in this humble blogger’s opinion.
