Portland, Oregon and environs constitutes the 22nd- or 23rd most populous metropolitan area in these United States.

↵It’s the 1st most populous metropolitan area in these United States without professional baseball. None at all.

↵And thanks to a decision by a single Clark County (Washington) Commissioner, this won’t be changing any time soon.

↵I’m not complaining. Long live those bat-chewing Yakima Bears. It’s just interesting, is all.
