The Indianapolis Colts are on a collision course with the No. 1 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and securing the services of Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck.
Andrew Luck sees playing with established QB as a positive
There has been speculation that current Colts starter Peyton Manning wouldn’t like but Luck doesn’t see the issue.
“I’m sure it would be a positive. I’m sure it would all work out, whatever the situation is,” Luck said while accepting the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in Baltimore.
Of course, Luck isn’t going to say something controversial at this point. He’ll most likely stay positive regardless of the question asked. In fact, despite saying playing with an established starter would be a positive, he wasn’t necessarily thinking about the Colts.
“I haven’t really given much thought to the different scenarios of what could happen because I’ve got a bowl game to prepare for,” Luck said.
Luck also noted the rookies who are playing well this season and implied he could do the same.
“If you look at the league right now, all the rookies that are doing so well, I think it’s very possible to start,” Luck said.
