Anyone interested in getting an in-depth look at what NFL General Managers, scouts, player personnel, and NFL teams draft war rooms do on a daily basis throughout the year to prepare their respective teams for success needs to check out the site created by former GM of the Denver Broncos, Ted Sundquist, at Thefootballeducator.com. He gives very detailed oriented information about the duties of a NFL GM and how they not only have to put together a 53 man roster but deal with sports agents of each potential team prospect. If you are chasing a dream as I am of one day being a NFL scout or working in the front office of a professional football team this site throws a lot of knowledge at you.

Sundquist joined the Denver Broncos in 1993 as a scout. He spent his first ten years with the organization as Player Personnel Assistant (1992-1994), Director of Scouting from 1995-2001, and then promoted to General Manager (2001-2007). Sundquist served as College Scouting Director and was in that role during the Broncos’ back-to-back Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998. He managed pro and college scouting, and was accountable for salary cap and contract analysis. Sundquist was promoted to GM in 2002 by owner Pat Bowlen after being looked at by both the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons organizations. He started at GM with five consecutive winning seasons, a franchise record. Sundquist left the Broncos following a 7-9 record in 2007.

So if you want to know about scouting techniques and how players are evaluated by pro scouts check out Ted Sundquist at Thefootballeducator.com it will be worth your time no doubt.
