The Kings’ missing offense finally returned Monday in a 3-2 shootout win over the Maple Leafs.
For one night, the Kings reversed their misfortunes, scoring three goals for the first time before Thanksgiving in a 3-2 shootout win over the Maple Leafs.
Los Angeles had over 40 shots for the fourth time in six games, but made it count this time (the Kings were 1-2-0 in the previous three games with 40-plus shots). Dustin Brown scored in the second period on the power play (the King's first power play goal in seven games) and his shootout goal sealed the game for the struggling Kings.
Even with the recent struggles, the Kings are only five points out of the top spot in the Pacific Division. Will the Kings claim the throne? Stay tuned.
