This was bound to happen. Before he's even announced whether he'll enter the 2012 NFL Draft, Robert Griffin III is already coming under scrutiny.
Question’s about Robert Griffin III and the Baylor offense arise

Speaking to anonymous scouts, Albert Breer of NFL Network got some fantastic quotes about Griffin. They aren’t especially flattering, though. Chiefly, they ripped the Baylor offense and the play calling style.
“They don’t call plays in the huddle. They walk to the line, the play comes from upstairs to the sideline, and it’s signaled in,” one told Breer. “The coordinator upstairs is reading the defense, (Griffin) is not doing that at all. And in the NFL, you’re going to have to be the one reading the defense. You have to know what’s going on at all times. And you have to get him under center, taking 3-, 5- and 7-step drops.”
Since the spread offense has been popularized over the last half decade or so, this has been the contention. The talents of a quarterback can be masked by simplistic play calling and gimmickry.
Now we’ll just have to figure out fact from fiction in regard to Griffin. Does he really make NFL-style throws? How is his footwork in the pocket? How does he do on third down? Does he go through progressions or benefit largely from the short passing game? If Griffin declares after Baylor’s bowl game on Dec. 29, we’ll start breaking those things down.
For now, make sure to check out Breer’s story here. It’s filled with several more quotes about Griffin’s game.
