Local Athlete Buys Mobile Transport Vehicles For South Floridians

It’s the kind of local news story that tugs on the heartstrings, especially in South Florida where so many need help getting around. It reminds you that someone is looking out for the little people. Or in this case, the gigantic people.

Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush enjoyed his first season in Florida so much that he recently purchased Segway "Personal Transporters" for each member of his offensive line. And then he tweeted about it.

I don’t know if “kids in a candy store” is the right descriptor. They look more like kids wondering how they’re going to fit these contraptions into the trunk of their Audi. But I’m sure they’re still pretty pleased.

They certainly earned the easy mode of transportation. Bush ran for his first 1,000-yard season since joining the NFL (1,086 yards with one game to go).

Hey, if Bush can improve on his numbers next season, jetpacks for everyone!
