Are you tired of hearing and reading about Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck? Does the thought of him being considered a once-in-a-generation prospect make you want to barf?
Well clean off your chin because the hype is just warming up. Hosing gas onto the growing Luck blaze is ESPN. Headed by longtime NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper and Todd McShay of Scouts Inc., ESPN.com has launched a mini site dedicated to analyzing Luck.
Perhaps this isn't new. But it is to me. Considering I'm quite the connoisseur of draft information, and the process behind generating that information, this may be new to you too. The site features comprehensive breakdowns of Luck's short and deep accuracy, arm strength, measurables, release, pocket presence, mobility, production and toughness.
ESPN.com dedicates involving, video-heavy page to scouting Andrew Luck

The most interesting aspect of this site (which I suppose is impressive) is that it compares Luck to Peyton Manning, John Elway and Matt Ryan in each of those categories. The grades range from one (exceptional) to five (marginal).
The rankings given to each player are interesting. The four Manning got in mobility is the closest any of them came to scoring a five. Each of the four quarterbacks received a top grade in the release and pocket presence categories. Ryan and Luck each were given a one or two in every category.
Totaling the scores for each, Luck (with 13) is considered to be the best quarterback prospect, followed by Ryan (14), Elway (16) and Manning (20).
Check out the site here. Let me know what you think of something like this.
