Defensive end/linebacker Brandon Jenkins is the marquee name among Florida State juniors who will submit their paperwork to the NFL Draft advisory board.
Several Florida State players to submit NFL Draft paperwork
A report by the Orlando Sentinel today noted that Jenkins, cornerback Greg Reid and “many” third-year players will be filing.
“I’m going to take a long time to think about that,” Jenkins told the paper. “I’m the biggest Florida State fan there is, so I’m going to make my decision off a couple of things. It’s going to be a hard decision.”
Jenkins has had a decent season for the Seminoles, finishing with 39 tackles with 11 tackles for loss and 7 sacks. Florida State coaches lined Jenkins up in a variety of way, which allowed him to show off his agility and change of direction skills.
The report leaves the question of which other Seminoles constitute the "many" who will file. That likely includes redshirt sophomore cornerback Xavier Rhodes and the following juniors: safety Nick Moody, quarterback E.J. Manuel and defensive tackle Everett Dawkins
