Huh? Phoenix To Honor Ronald Reagan Prior To Sunday’s Race

Ronald Reagan has been honored with several tributes this year, which would have been the year he turned 100.

↵Now, Phoenix International Raceway will honor Reagan prior to the start of Sunday’s Sprint Cup race with a video tribute to be played for fans.

Reagan is being honored because he was the first President to attend a NASCAR race. The video will highlight Reagan’s NASCAR connection.

So apparently if you have anything to do with NASCAR and you’re famous, you may someday be honored.

No truth to the rumor NASCAR is planning to honor Michael Jackson for once watching a race when he was flipping through the channels on a Sunday afternoon.
