Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara met wit the media at the NFL Combine Sunday and did so with a calm confidence.
When he was asked if he was better than LSU's Patrick Peterson, Amukamara quickly said "I feel I'm a better corner."
On a weekend where most of the cornerbacks have been comparing themselves to Charles Woodson, Amukamara didn't bite.
"I have respect for all the DBs, but there's not a guy I try to model my career after," Amukamara said. "I think anyone who considers themselves great should have their own category."

Amukamara didn’t seem real big on reading his press clippings either, especially those that are negative.
“I think some don’t know what they’re talking about or seen me on film,” he said. “I guess I’ll show them on Tuesday.”
“I’m not someone who Googles themselves, but if I see it on ESPN I see it.”
Some of those stories have questioned Amukamara’s deep speed, but he expects to run a good 40-yard dash on Tuesday. He even seemed a little surprised when someone mentioned him running a 4.5 40.
“Dang, 4.5? I know I’m gonna run real well.”
Amukamara even expects to be a starter as a rookie next season.
“That is my plan. I’m not trying to redshirt in the NFL.”
