At the NFL Combine Sunday, Oregon State defensive tackle Stephen Paea set a record in the 225-pound bench press with 49 repetitions.
His response?
"I think I can go back and do another one," Paea said.
Paea said he wasn't really sore or tired shortly after bench press session. With sweat still rolling down down his forehead, Paea just said he was blessed the last couple of months to prepare for the event.
Stephen Paea sets NFL Combine bench press record, ready for one more

At the Senior Bowl in January, Paea suffered a lateral meniscus injury in his right knee injury that required clean up work by Dr. James Andrews.
The injury had zero effect on Paea’s ability to push the weight, beating the previous high of 45 set by Arkansas’
last year.
Paea said being strong in his upper body helps on game days, especially in the fourth quarter.
“If you have a strong upper body, you can shed blocks and use your hands,” Paea said. “When you say use your hands, you’re using your chest. I feel that applies to my type of game with all my get off.”
