Julio Jones, the emerging star of the 2011 NFL Combine, did it all with a broken foot that will need a screw inserted, according to the NFL Network's Charley Casserly. Rich Eisen describes the surgery he'll need as being similar to the one undergone by Michael Crabtree, which did not affect his NFL Draft standing by very much; he was still drafted in the top 10.

Jones posted the Combine’s highest broad jump, a very good vertical jump, and an unreasonably quick 40-yard dash for a man of his size, looking imposing and smooth the whole way. He’s expected to be picked early in the first round, but some have started whispering about him being picked ahead of A.J. Green.
While that’s still a longshot, knowing that he did all of that with an injured foot only makes him more intriguing. And now we know how tough he is, too. NFL people like tough things.
