Waste Management Phoenix Open: Delayed Round 1 Underway At TPC Scottsdale

The Waste Management Phoenix Open finally began Thursday after a four-hour delay due to heavy frost at TPC Scottsdale. Wednesday’s pro-am was called off due to icy conditions, which are also expected Friday morning. Temperatures are suppose to warm up during the week and have no negative affects on the weekend rounds.

Phil Mickelson headlines an impressive field which includes last week’s winner Bubba Watson, Dustin Johnson, Anthony Kim, Camilo Villegas and Rickie Fowler.

Last year’s winner, Hunter Mahan, will tee off at 6:17 p.m. ET with Johnson and Geoff Ogilvy. Other notable tee times for later today include:

6:17 p.m. ET: Stuart Appelby, Martin Laird, Sean O’Hair

6:26 p.m. ET: Charley Hoffman, Kim, Ryan Moore

6:44 p.m. ET: Robert Garrigus, Davis Love III, J.B. Holmes

The rest of the tee times are at the PGA Tour website.
