With rumors swirling that UFC 128’s ticket sales were less than optimal, UFC President Dana White said during the UFC 126 post-fight press conference that once word had spread that Jon Jones would be replacing Rashad Evans in the title fight against Shogun Rua, TicketMaster “was going crazy”. A Jones-Rua fight is certainly more intriguing to the hardcore fan and apparently the casual as well.
