The 2011 ACC Tournament officially gets underway at Noon ET on Thursday with the first game of the bracket between UVA and Miami for the right to play No. 1 UNC on Friday. The three other games in the first round of the ACC Tournament are Boston College vs. Wake Forest at 2 p.m. ET, Maryland vs. N.C. State at 7 p.m. ET and Virgina Tech vs. Georgia Tech at 9 p.m. ET.
ACC Tournament 2011 Bracket, Schedule: UVA, Miami Start Play At Noon Thursday
The first three contests are of little NCAA Tournament consequence as all six teams are out of the March Madness field (unless they win the ACC Tournament, of course). But the nightcap is a critical game for Virginia Tech as the Hokies look to get the right side of the bubble heading into Selection Sunday.
