After some time off, links are back and 100 percent lockout free. Enjoy the reprieve.

Turf Show Times - Looking for a Julio Jones consolation prize
The SB Nation Rams site has become resigned to the fact that Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones won't be available with the 14th pick. They ponder some later-round players like Greg Little, Niles Paul, Austin Pettis, Edmund Gates and Terrence Tolliver. They also touch on Indiana's Tandon Doss. Pick 47 is a little early for Doss, but if he's there in the third round, he'd be a perfect pick. He has great hands, which will accelerate Sam Bradford's development.

Corn Nation - Where do the best college football players come from?
From a data standpoint, this is probably the best work you'll see all year on an SB Nation site. Our Nebraska site breaks down where in the world the NFL's offensive players come from. The most (26 percent) come from the South.

ESPN.com - The cornerback conundrum
Mike Sando looks at the last 15 years of taking cornerbacks in the first six picks of the draft. It goes from good – Champ Bailey and Shawn Springs – to not so good – Bryant Westbrook and Pacman Jones.

Times Dailey - Dareus makes a stop in Florence, talks draft
Best quote: “We’ve got quite a few teams, top four teams, pretty interested in me. They like what I do on the field — of course, everybody likes what I do on the field — but they like the way I handle myself, my mannerisms, the way I carry myself as a person, on and off the field. I tell them I want to be a pro’s pro, and they really look up to that and they really see a difference in the way I play and the way I react.”

The Oregonian - Rodgers and Linnenkohl improve numbers at Oregon State pro day
Jacquizz Rodgers needed an excellent pro day, and he had one. Rodgers had a bad Combine, but helped himself running a hand-time 4.47 40-yard dash Friday.

Dallas Morning News - Von Miller 'bummed out' after trying to meet with Cowboys
Von Miller is open about wanting to play for the Cowboys and told Dallas radio Tuesday that he was bummed out the team didn't interview him at the Combine.

Daily Times - Stocker, Moore run faster at Tennessee’s pro day

Baltimore Sun - Four tight ends the Ravens could target

Denver Post - Fox, Elway, Xanders very busy in NFL Draft preparation

NFL.com - Teams could fall for ascending Ponder
