FA Cup Sunday: Stoke City-West Ham United Audition As Cinderellas, Reading Playing David To Manchester City’s Goliath

Two spots in the FA Cup semifinals were settled on Saturday. Bolton dramatically eliminated League Cup champions Birmingham City at St. Andrew's while Manchester United cobbled together a team to see off Arsenal, 2-0. Those clubs are on to Wembley, while their fellow semifinalists could be chosen today in matches at the Brittania and Eastlands.

The action starts at 10:00 a.m. Eastern in Stoke-on-Trent where League Cup semifinalists West Ham United will try to reach the same heights in the FA Cup. Their hosts, Stoke City, are trying to reverse a downturn that's seen the Potters win-less in four.

At 12:45 p.m. Eastern, the last club from outside the Premier League plays David to Manchester City's Goliath, the Citizens hosting the Royals of Reading. Reading has already taken Premier League scalps from West Bromwich Albion and Everton, while Manchester City has been pushed to replays by both Leicester City and Notts County.

SB Nation Soccer will be providing live updates of today’s matches in this space, with the semifinal pairings set to be announced at 2:00 p.m. Eastern.
