LSU Monday’s only pro day of note

Today’s pro days: Air Force, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, LSU, Montana, Newberry, Wake Forest, Widener
The only noteworthy pro day today is LSU, though even that one has lost it’s luster.
According to Tony Pauline of Draft Insider, Peterson won’t run today and will stand by his NFL Combine times. It makes sense, even though Peterson wanted to break 4.3 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

Instead today’s pro day is big for players like wide receiver Terence Tolliver, running back

and linebacker

. Each is a middling prospect who didn’t do quite enough at the Combine to push themselves into the top 100 picks.
Position drills will be important for defensive lineman

In years past, there would be more newsworthy happenings at the Central Michigan and Wake Forest pro days. Not so this year. Neither team may have a player drafted this year.
