Kings Lose Justin Williams For 3-4 Weeks With Dislocated Shoulder

The Los Angeles Kings moved into fifth place in the Western Conference logjam with a win against the Calgary Flames on Monday night, but in the process they lost their second leading scorer.

Justin Williams will be out of the lineup for three to four weeks with a dislocated shoulder after taking a check from Calgary's Robyn Regehr. Williams is the second leading scorer for the Kings with 57 overall points, 22 goals and 35 assists.

As his replacement, the Kings have called up Oscar Moller from their AHL affiliate, the Manchester Monarchs. Moller has played four games already this season, registering one goal and three assists with the Kings, and is the second leading scorer for the Monarchs this season with 23 goals and 27 assists in 59 games.

Here’s video of the hit that injured Williams, if you’ve yet to see it.
