Three new videos went up on the Mocking the Draft’s YouTube channel this weekend with a west coast lean. First was a look at Villanova at Eastern Washington for the FCS Playoff Semifinals. Eastern Washington plays on “The Inferno”, which is the nickname for their red field turf. Turnovers ultimately cost Villanova, but the game remains close to the end and Eastern advances.

Next was the battle for Los Angeles between USC and UCLA. Both teams used quite a few younger players and they struggled not only with the opposition, but also themselves. USC makes the most big plays and runs away with it in the end.
Finally, we end the weekend with Washington vs Oregon State. Washington jumps out front early, then Oregon State comes back and both teams struggle till the dramatic double overtime conclusion. The game is a microcosm of where Jake Locker is: inconsistent, but capable of great things. He has bad throws, but also makes some great throws under pressure. It also highlights that while Jacquizz Rodgers maybe small and not have the long speed, he is still quick and able to make defenders miss in space. He could be a great weapon in the NFL.
Next weekend we look east with Central Florida vs Georgia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Miami vs Pittsburgh, and Boston College vs Syracuse. Make sure to leave any requests on the channel page because after next weekend we are going to come out with a new schedule that will take us right up to the draft.
