Kansas Speedway Sprint Cup Race Gets A Name

The upcoming Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway race now has a name: The STP 400.

STP resonates with old-school fans because of its longtime sponsorship of Richard Petty. And Richard Petty Motorsports will capitalize on that, but having driver AJ Allmendinger drive an STP-sponsored No. 43 car (with the original paint scheme) during the Kansas race.

It was also announced Wednesday that the June 3 Nationwide race at Chicagoland Speedway will be the STP 300.
