Tyler Hansbrough Injury: Pacers Forward Leaves Game 1 Vs. Bulls After Blow To Head

In the third quarter of Saturday's Bulls-Pacers game, Indiana forward Tyler Hansbrough hit the floor after receving a blow to the head. Hansbrough subsequently left the Pacers' playoff opener.

While angling for a rebound, the Bulls' Kurt Thomas inadvertently elbowed Hansbrough in the left temple area. Hansbrough was dazed, but didn't appear to have lost consciousness.

After passing a set of preliminary concussion tests off-court, however, Hansbrough was cleared to return to action. He’s been instrumental for the Pacers on Saturday, as his 15 points have helped them build a surprising lead over the top-seed Bulls.
