Capitals Vs. Rangers, Game 3: New York Looks To Climb Back Into The Series

Despite giving up only four goals in two games, the New York Rangers find themselves down 2-0 in their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series to the Washington Capitals. The problem for New York: solving Washington netminder Michal Neuvirth, who has given up but one goal in the first two games. The two teams reconvene at Madison Square Garden for this afternoon's Game 3.

Both teams will go with the same lineups for Game 3 that they used in Game 2, though the Capitals may be switching their top two forward lines. The Rangers may do some line re-tooling as well. Anything in an attempt to solve Neuvirth, who currently has an 0.43 GAA and a .979 save percentage in the series.

Follow this StoryStream throughout the day for updates on the game. Check out Blueshirt Banter and Japer’s Rink for more from each of these teams. See you in a bit, and enjoy the hockey.
