What Is A Marathon?

Let me tell you what it is not: a race. Oh, for the handful of Kenyans who actually have a shot at winning, it’s a race, but for the other 100,000 people, it’s just a fun-run. And if they’re running for the fun of it, maybe they should do it in their own towns. And here’s another idea: maybe don’t run so far that an army of medical volunteers is needed to make sure you don’t drop dead from dehydration.
