Esmil Rogers’ Streak Ends, Then Ends Again

According to Tracy Ringolsby, Colorado's Esmil Rogers entered tonight's start against the Giants with MLB's longest streak of not giving up a home run. The streak reached 228 plate appearances until Pat Burrell homered in the first inning ... and Nate Schierholtz followed with another.
